Is it pretend or make believe
The kindness that comes through
After all I've said to you,
I want your kindness too.

So now how do tell
Where it all begins and ends
Truth and lies hold hand in hand
In a grand operatic dance
Where shadows blend into light
Intertwine in intimate bands.

How can I decipher it now
When I was the orchestra master
Of this whimsical ballet
By initiating the beginning
With a wave of my baton.

I liked the way you explained the blending - very very good!  Then to find the speaker is the cause of the troubles - i was even more surprised! Thank you.
