I Wish you Peace

When emotions get tangled up
As they all try to escape at once,
When you are the only rock
That I can see for miles around
That is when I don't know
The direction of the wind,
But it holds enough strength
To lift me from the ground

"I Wish you Peace"
The whispers touch my ears.
The lightning leaps across the sky,
The raindrops fall like tears.
It is only then I notice,
I am crying for no reason,
Then by thunder I'm reminded
That the storm should sooth my fears.
