RECIPES FOR?

take a forest
or a stick

perhaps
a raindrop
or the ocean

maybe
a galaxy
or a firefly

possibly
a grain of sand
or a desert

perchance
a library
or a word

even
a petal
or a garden

haply
the universe
or a neutron

still there’s
the ovum
or the corpse

NOW,
add man

Yeah thats interesting enough, I think that man doesnt really compare to most or those things, nor do they have a likeness to anything great...I think it is cool and collective, this I believe will be a poem memorable one, one that just sticks I guess

Return the favor on Swear to God

"How vain it is to sit down and write when u have not stood up to live"

Your words weave a vision that is stunning in all ways and then add ingredient of man to see what he will do with the recipe you gave him....will he let his senses be delighted with the beauty of it or will his ego guide him to take perfection believing he can make it better and in truth destroy it...Amazing the direction your words make my thoughts go...This poem is both powerful and thought provoking...I must say I love it...*big hugs*
