Words to Speak - Heart to Share
04 December 2005

There was one woman out there
who truly in her hands held my heart
As to have stepped into her presence
like the wind to a storm
This gentle poet
of words to speak

“I have a shoulder
you have a heart
Rest your soul
upon what I have
and never never
let it depart”

Of that one woman
awaiting to truly find
Because in her was
more to ponder in mind

A gentle poet
with words to share
In running ragged
with heart upon
a sleeve to bare

“Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right
hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.”
Psalms 18: 35 KJV

Appreciating this, it's beautiful and testifies a warm and wise heart.

some times it is not where the inspiration comes from or the focus, but where the road leads.

then maybe my form of writing is unusual, yet are we not all unique in our own way
