I caught my bed with another's man's wife
and....it hurt me to the core.
The sheets took on another life;
My pillows now are sore.

And...

every night, my bedsprings pray...
they want an encore!!!
Now, I'll have to marry, or,
nail them to the floor.

bedsprings talk too much... I'm thinking memory foam might be even worse...

What a twist!

Funny! I love wit in poetry, and it's one of the hardest things to do right. And this? Perfect!

i Believe I have found the one with whom I shall never experience such pain.  I do not care to experience jail, but feel I would if ever I should encounter this situation.  I thank God I never have!  ~Sherry

Thanks for looking for your hat when you replied

Never tought this "thing" would have generated so much attention.

But, of course, my writer's ego likes it.

Thanks again...to all!

and Ethel, I always seem to be looking for my hat.

Now,

By chanch, have you seen it?

can't keep up with the darned thing....
