Write Me A Mountain
~*Marge Tindal*~

Write me a mountain that I’ve yet to climb
Ink me poetic lift to far-reaching sublime
Leave poetic footprints so it may be known
As I follow word-crumbs that you’ve strewn

Don a brook in the roiling bubble of rhyme
Bridged ‘cross the crossable chasm of time
Cascade the liquid-words in sparkling fall
Down mountain reaching foothills in sprawl

Ink not a turn unless refreshing the scene
Moccasin movement on trails hidden between
Indian past and the present, rhymed recall
A time when Spirit of Mountain knew it all

Write me a mountain that I’ve yet to climb
Ink me poetic lift to far-reaching sublime
Leave poetic footprints so it may be known
As I follow word-crumbs that you’ve strewn

When I read this poem, after I got through it, I just sat and stared at it for a while, it's almost too perfect, but just almost It looks like it has been carved, hard to explain, but I loved it And I also discovered that if you only read the last word of each line, that becomes a poem in it self, with lots of inbetweens, like..

Rhyme
Time
Fall
Sprawl

Scene
Between
Recall
It all

Anyway, thanks!
