Write Me A River
~*Marge Tindal*~

Write me a river that sweeps me along
a river that floats me on gentle song
Deny me no current in a quilling flow
deliver a word-river that moves me so

Swirl me in the mystique of the rhyme
in your liquid ink poetically sublime
Splash the words upon the barest skin
then do it poet .... do it over again

Ripple me melodic to the worded shore
where contented I'll wait forevermore
For your ship-of-words in expectation
for the ride of my life in jubilation

Write me a river that sweeps me along
a river that floats me on gentle song
Deny me no current in a quilling flow
deliver a word-river that moves me so

Marge, you have the heart of a true poet!

I hope poetic currents always keep your heart afloat...and lots of love, too.

Marge, I see the words floating serenly
on the bluest river. Thank you for the vision.  Very imaginative. martyjo
