“OUR SPECIAL LOVE”

My love is far away from me,

But, him one day I hope to see.

For us to be together,

As was meant to be.

Although we have never met

He is my biggest secret yet.
.For only GOD knows of him.

I keep him hidden in my heart.

We have loved each other from the start
.
HE knows the love we both share.

To one another our souls we bare.

We wait each day, and sometime weeks.

Before we have a chance to speak

Although we have had chances to talk.

But, never alone or to take a walk,

Only thinking of one another.

What it would be like to be together.

In our lives simple as we know it to be,

I want to be with him and him with me.

Our dream someday we hope to see.

But I belong to someone else, and so does he.

Someday with GOD’S help we hope to be.

Living our lives with one another
till eternity.

As this began, I thought your love was Jesus, but in the end it seemed it was another. I like it, but don't quite understand.

Just a note to readers that this matter has been resolved.  I thank Patricia for being understanding in this matter and being so co-operative.  I guess it is all a matter of perspective.  Good work Patricia.  I very much appreciate your help in this matter.  You did not have to move it but I appreciate your dedication to Passions In Poetry.

Earlier in the day I had stated:
I think this is in the wrong forum.  This is a forum for Spiritual meanings.  Your poem is more about a love for a man.  I am only a deputy moderator but I believe this should be in Open Poetry or some other forum due to the nature of its contents.  God is only mentioned when you want to be together with your one true love, a man.  It is a beautiful poem, but in the wrong forum.

Hi to all...I want it understood this poem is NOT about my love life...LoL It is about a friend of mine that was going through a hard time, with a guy on the internet...LoL At least some of you thought it sounded so good...that it sounded real. I thank you for that! I have been married to my high school sweetheart for close to 37 years and we are still very much in love! :-)

I understood , quite a lot of people are having online relationships and are also married , in fact more than people realise because its all done in secret
