A Choice

of the two, one of you,
is like a mother,
the other a lover,
which one shall I choose?

the one before,
by less or by more,
looks beautiful in true.

so pure is she,
no thought of her can,
in lustful manner be,

she always seems clothed,
though naked she may be,
her touch is gentle as the west wind,
her voice smooth like honey.

forever she would bind
my body and my mind,
to the peaceful love of her arms.

but,

the one that comes after
is a completely other matter,
as her body is a work of art.

even in full robes
she never seems clothed
so sensual is she.

she will raise a man
without even trying
I know she can
‘cause for her love I am dying.

she will not caress,
she will rather obsess
and force you on roughly,
one must handle her toughly,
so as not to experience duress.

of these two,
who should I choose?
damned or blest,
this is surely a test,
only each seems better
when with the other.

"only each seems better

Isn't it always so? Nice work.
