Where’er thy smile spreads across this canvas,
Dusted with emotion, and pieces of heart, thee brings;
The soul to breathe, when shivers feel the kiss,
The open spaces to and fro, consent to thy absence.
So love from afar did blossom thee into mind,
And when I please to remember, the heartache.

Thou harbours in the bloodstream, giveth hast,
Some hath failed! Where thee shall succeed;
To and fro the heart strings place the beat,
And by that vessel thee hath remov’d the casing
Of those old temples, which, soul sent,
Too oft hath I prayed to myself too long!
Now parted like the ocean, and thee shall pass between,
For both my heart and soul hath sank.

But the sun still shone, who can fear the night
’Tis I whom hath seen the stars in thy eyes;
Another place, filled with its own beauty
dipped in the deepest of wonderments, to guess,
And o’er the movement of the lids shall close the passage.
Then fleets of tears shall rain from, not the sky,
But my eyes shall be those of rivers soon to dry;
Thou hath caught a flight upon a winged angels back,
To tower o’er me from the clouds I’ve seen thee in.

Where’er thy smile spreads across this canvas,
I’ve placed those thoughts beside thee;
That finish’d touch on the tip on my finger
Shall brush thee away o’er the blankness.
Whose heart hath died in place of mine now;
Once above now before my eyes erased
The painting completed from the exposure,
Doth thou now see what thee hath done.

yes we both are the romantic poet and poetess, and I love the old style of poetry, you write it well, and your paintings are always an eye full!
