Keep your distance from that other car
You don’t know his actions,
        only can guess from  afar
Like fast lovers on a slow country road
You  may think they’re warm
        when they’re really cold stoned.

They may use proper signals and appear
        to read the signs
They may be wearing masks while calculating,
        calculating their designs.
Stop, look and listen, advice I send for free.
Sure wish I'd listened a bit more carefully,
       a little bit to me!

Great poem reflecting on the dangers of the road.  I liked it and give it a 10.

These wise words you send our way
So often go unheeded
For we hear what we want to hear
And tune out what is needed. *S*

I was on the road so much of the weekend... so your poem conjures vivid memories. *S* Excellent write!
