Tuesday Blues

a touch of the blues washes over me again
daylight redeems my cold windows
a shard of sun thinks it can make me happy
because it can
there is a reason for my season of mystery
whats his deal ? ask the passing people
to much time on his hands creative are his plans
free the leaves from the tree's was a  campaign for color change
singing alone in my home of stone and red brick sides
reaching out to the far lands of no hope and pain
healing cuts with the magic of rain
can you walk off without me
would i drift into your evenings , a late midnight lover
still just little me o' me
trying to place a smile on her face
for reasons unknown
in my words it is shown
keeping the faith in me
you know where i will be
ready to open the door to this destiny
that awaits me in white blankets of fluffy fresh snow

There's something very sad about the fall. Yet, it always leaves you holding on for something. Just as this did, and as it seems you are.

Always, Alyssa
