The Less of More

The more I sew the less I know
Each particle of different snow
That shows a different shape each worth
The moment of its birth on earth

I look within extremes of shade
And follow close each weave of fade
Make a note each come and go
To add to that of which I know

The library that I prepare
Has bent the scale of my aware
On one side filling bit by bit
The other with the grit of wit

It is an ever changing scale
That’s grown much larger than a whale
And though it sticks inside my craw
I’ve little belly for much more

For I’m swallowed in its bend and
My candle splitters nears its end

Morning hugs to you, Mr. T.

"It is an ever changing scale
That’s grown much larger than a whale"

"For I’m swallowed in its bend and
My candle splitters nears its end"

~ Hmm. Gives me pause to ponder your wonder. But never fear! Earth Angel's here!

Ain't that the truth?!
Wise words to ponder this morning Seymour
Thankyou for this.

yes, ain't that the truth, is to what I thought while reading the first line...
Your poetry is always like a first morning lesson from a robin's song...

Thank you dear man, for your great wise words.

Hugs...

I love how you take your words and sew them into my heart.
That is where I keep your library safe.

It seems I'm the only one to read late at night so as I lay me down to sleep it pays to know ... we're all the same.  Yes, I can relate fully to your poem.  Good words!  Thanks!
