Great Spirit hear our prayer as we pledge our love this day.

Guide us Great Father in the true and perfect way.

Let our hearts and souls unite, and let us be as one.

To always live in harmony as the moon and the sun.

Let me see all beauty through her bright and gentle eyes.

Let her share in my strength when the grim coyote cries.

And may the drum beat of our love forever gain in pace, untill at last together we gaze upon your face.

Inspired by a good wife
and a Cherokee grandmother.

A wonderful prayer ... love and harmony invoked with a spirit that surrenders to the Supreme Creator of all things.

Steven, I knew from reading your first poem posted here at Pip, that I was going to be a big fan of your writing! It speaks to my very soul!

Your wife and Cherokee grandmother inspired a loving, spiritual write of great beauty.

Linda
