Sun drenched days pass
Turn to golden afternoons
Summer heat caresses my skin
Waiting for the night to wrap me in your arms

When I can be with you again
Under a sky that shimmers like Diamonds

Your eyes bewitch, they draw me in
Dark flames that burn where they touch
Your smile lights my nights
Like the flash of a shooting star

Captive, helpless against the tides
That swept us along in the dance
Of passion intertwined
A brief interlude of time out of time

When two realities touched, overlapped
And became one for a space
Measured not by hours
But by heartbeats, laughter, touch, despair

In my dreams I still see you
I feel the phantom touch of your hands against my
skin
Setting me aflame once more

I still hear your voice in my ears
Whispering words of desire.....

Was it all just a dream?
Your memory haunts me still.........

"What we have here is a failure to communicate"  From the movie "Cool hand luke", one of my favorites;

Truely different than anything you have ever written...

even the fundamentals...

as someone else once said, it is always a beautiful thing when one can write to ones own in such a moving way.
