2001 version and I suppose it isn't the best but I wrote it originally for old people being taken advantage of by "Bankers".

             Will you go sorry dreams

The frost in on the grass
And the trees are sweetly greying
And that old motorway
Swings around the crystal gazing

Will you go sorry dreams

And I will surely find another
Where bank balances grow
And developers hubba hubba

Will you go sorry dreams

If my true love she were here
She would surely find another
Where sports cars go
Burning up the red hot rubber

Will you go sorry dreams

And I will surely tramp another
All around the dark grey mountain
That once really mattered
Will you go sorry dreams

But my true love she won’t find
Where people go for laughter
All around the threatened mountain
They couldn’t be much dafter
Eating people's lives

And for what
What's after

Will you go sorry dreams

And my dreams are forged on faith
But without the slaughter
In the car’s blue light
Of someone else's daughter

Will you go sorry dreams

And I will surely find another
Where wild people go
And all around the headlights mutter

Will you go sorry dreams

And if the sky here would fall
The cars would gather hereto
And melt like butter
Sounding their horns in the gutter

Will you go sorry dreams
