Combining

Combining of the yes and no
The yen and yang the black and white
Is making do with sun and snow
The dark of night and white of light

It is the wheel that rolls the path
And carries time upon its back
The beginning and aftermath
And all the things you think you lack

Combining is a synthesis
A drop of time upon a stage
The cutting of the Kris and bliss
That comes and stops at any age

It must be done to reach a goal
To travel round a rivers bend
To build within your time a soul
To synthesize your coming end

For life is but a cross you bear
The coinage for your time of share

And combos are a dance in time,
of two who would make footsteps rhyme,
a click of heel and swirl of hem
and rhythmed rhyme that has no end...

Thanks for the inspire, Sy!

Good morning, my Dear Sonneteer!

I love the yin-yanginess of this morning's poetic offerings!

One of the most perfect combinations is your hands and a keyboard!

A mind is a terrible thing to waste ~ and you certainly are not wasting yours!

Morning Sy!
This piece has wonderful rhythm.
If it weren't so early I could dance a leftover Irish jig to it.
Tea's on...I'll pour.

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul

That it is Sir Sy, the coinage for our time
of share.  Well done, once again as always.
