A Little Here

A little here a little there
It came to me from everywhere
Bit by bit it made a boat that
Float me over the living moat

The whispers of the time of day
The colors of the sky in play
The green within the green of grass
The birds and butterflies alas

It took some time to make a dent
And much of grime to wear a vent
But finally the sun came through
To show my eyes another view

And now I see the world in awe
The Eden that was made once more
I found it where it’s always been
The core within each thing of mean

I cannot say what others will
For time has yet to send the bill

Sy, I always see the sun through your eyes,
and I enjoy the view through your writing.

Morning Sy!
Yet another beautiful write from your magical pen.
~Morning hugs & tea, Nancy~

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul
