my mind hears the metal
ghosts of wrenches
in a garage of cotton fields

windless as the bones
that bathe in them
bleach of ebony earth
some country western singer
would eat with his guitar
by the tablespoon rich
from the poor man's hands

and mouth into the whine
of wine and bread
but then who prays

at the pagan's communion

a marvelous red painting you describe
hope the communion hears not the transgressions, but what really is....

Another amazing grace you present us with this morn....

Interesting read.

Poetry is beauty in words.
