Etude

The season’s etude works its way
And wakes my senses to the day
Fondling my ears and eyes
To the awe of springs surprise

The new born of the budding trees
The humming of the birds and bees
The waters ice release from store
The playing of the winter thaw

I listen to the song of spring
And hear the etude of the thing
And watch in awe the glories core
The birthing of the life in store

A miracle that never fails
To fill the slack within my sails
And wake me to the stir of life
Like a morning kiss from my wife

I cannot think a better way
To wake the senses of my day

How can spring not be sprung with lovely verses of  anticipation and celebration like those. Randy says give IssyB a kiss for him too LOL
