I wish I could be your obsession The one that your mind lingers on A thought that would constantly hold you From dusk ‘til the breaking of dawn... I wish I could be what you dream of Just once to be first in your heart To know that you wouldn’t forget me If Fate deemed that we be apart... I wish I could be your obsession As cherished as you are to me For this has become my obsession I wish, that for you I could be... Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life |
