fourteen beats
between breaths . . .

still sound ecstasy

vermillion bled blush
at a touch—
finger trail tales
of the wanton

dew pools in shimmer

I lay . . .

pierced and dying
a thousand deaths

and rising once more

in rebirth

only to be pierced again
by amour’s arrow

s.a.t.

btw, Greeneyes, my only problem? -the heart of the inspiration of this poem was a red hot lover that consumed my body in a pink flamed dream -tee hee

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .

some people have all the luck
everytime I shoot some hottie
with an arrow
they just quiver a bit
then ignore me

Thanks ARH for your sweet reply

Dark - ROFL - you have to use the right arrow, silly - the aluminum ones tend to do that

At least he wasn't wearing the tea shirt.

I supposed that came afterwards.

Nice evocative stuff.
