Power of Solitude

I am silent and I seek
Beneath the torments of mind
Rests a person, strong in heart
How do I awaken? Must I?

There over the mountain burns a fire
The thirst for peace and freedom
Isolation is not real it serves but a few
Alone in solitude I may be
I hurt nobody however but I am hurt

I will not rest until walls are torn down
Nations relinquish weapons
Hatred turns to love
For peace must prevail, will last
In the lonely heart and in those who yearn

The march began many centuries ago
And many a lonely mind has changed minds
For we are all alone to decide
That cultures exist only in mind
But humans do not fear the power of peace

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
