In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2004-10-28 10:47 PM

She who has been waiting
for her lover
    for desire of words
written on winds and sand

The arrival is certain
unfolding like a flower
in some lost graceful motion

Maybe the sky will keep you
from falling
having no say --
just walls
and skin &the smell
of tainted sheets

I didnt keep the details
but know they exist

{all in different shades of yellow lines
and finer roads}

I'd rather you kept the clutter
of rain in your mind
            blue and empty
stuffed with false hope
and adoring means

~
Perhaps jaded
in your hands
until the light of morning
or the next flavor
settles upon your tongue

~~*~~
Read between the lines
look deep into each word
and you will understand the
depth of my soul (GE)

Excellent Lauren.

it's a

Maree

and I am haunted
by my illicit exquisite dream
but I can't really wake up
so I just drift in between

=======================

so many times I find missing parts of me moody muse in your words...
only you turn them into something fragile, delicate and lovely.
Beautiful expressions in this gem L-girlie.

Poetry is emotion put into measure.
The emotion comes by nature ...
but the measure is acquired by art.
