Museless
~ By Sue ~

There are those of you I admire
If only I could be like one
I have no muse for some inspire
Therefore my writing is all done

AHA!  See?  I tried that approach...
and no one would let me quit!
Even complaining about being museless
is apparently no excuse!

Write on, our Sue!

LOL, I don't think so, Sue. Seems to me she just took a short break, and is ready to  saddle up and ride again.

funny that muse
independent as anything
but, ahhh, when she returns
she brings along visions of sugar plums
and millions of words, with voices
like drums....
Stay with us...never give up
cuz your words are a database of goodness!

I definitely know how you feel. I'm feeling a little museless myself today. Yesterday. For the last six months now that I think of it. Don't worry. Your muse will come back. Meanwhile, look for inspiration in everyday same-old same-old stuff. You'll be suprised what weird little nothings will inspire you. I once wrote a poem about central air conditioning, and it still is probably one of the best things that I've ever written. The point is, don't worry, you'll find inspiration.

Sue

This has only happened to me a couple of times and it left me feeling so empty.  I do hope you keep on writing.

For you :

"We aspire to act with the
eyes and heart of compassion.
We know the happiness of others
in our own happiness...
We know that every word,
every look, every action,
and every smile can bring
happiness to others"

I wish you well, Sue.

Take care.......Sue

I'm anchored in you

Been there, and I'm sure I will be again.
You'll write more soon, I'm sure of it!
