Good Lord Janet - I felt this in my chest . . . almost as if one could be reborn through what you have written .  . it reads as prayer . . .

Donna & msflame... thanks so much for coming by and enjoying the view...yes I am very lucky...I actually live in a large suburban town..every store you need a block away...but we are far enough west of the city limits that I have several state parks, and the lake within 20 minutes drive from here...and several more very cool places on the river just a half hour or so. The only thing missing is an ocean... eventually I hope to live on the beach in a bago. LOL

thanks for your lovely replies...
heres a few more pics.

WOW!  That last picture of yours belongs on that site you sent me.  Was that doctored or natural?  Absolutely incredible JM.  I came to your poem before shutting off this computer hoping to see the tranquility of your surroundings, and I am sure glad I did.  If these were sold as cards I would purchase them all (with a little Mothy Muse inside that is!)

I'm relatively sure I'm repeating at least three other people... but amazing, visually, and verbally... you know what i mean.

I want to keep all the photos.
(What kind of camera/settings are you using?
What caused those intense blue reflections in two of the above photos. LOL. My daughter is asking)

That is an awesome pic, it looks like butterfly wings under the current.
BTW...Just wanted to note for the record that the stink bait aka Tigerboyeeeee poetry you usually write, rarely (if ever?) gets this kind of reception.
I'm just saying...

Sharon and Kacy... Im using a 35 mm SLR ... the site ( Shutterfly) that I send my photos to for developing basicly turns them into digital quality and uploads them at very high resolution, thats why they are so sharp... some of the pics have been "saturated" with color...but... the color has to already be there...I cant change the colors..or warp in things that werent there to start with like you can in photo shop programs and etc...the blue for example was already there..I can enhance it and bring out what is lost to  bright sunlight, reflection etc... the blue water is what was in the shade up under the trees...I took those in late afternoon. The one with the rocks close up...those are leaves and different colored rocks under the current. Shutterfly is very cool...check em out ..its free to join and you can email your pics to people and make cool gifts with your own photos. www.shutterfly.com

Rdz9 .. thank you for your reply...I'll take an amazing no matter how many times its said.
thanks for coming by...

DUNCAN ... .. earlier on this thread...Karen says something about "sour grapes" ... need I say more???? yayayayaya
and as for "I'm just sayin" ...
me thinks me tigerboyeee poetry does just fine......
cant believe you opened that door... lmao...............

Awe Janet Marie,
I promised I would be back...

========================================
Time and again I am drawn here, returning
to where trees whisper the truths of the wind
and rocks keep the secrets of water.
========================================

And where my friend shares her wisdom without effort or expectation. Drawn by what you have absorbed and share so freely. Emotions expressed with ease and pictures painted in letters as pretty as leaves. No need for rain when tears flow so easy. Life so rich and full found, of course, at the source of this stream of words. Bless you sweet friend for saving up for this.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Of course, I had to sit here and watch a spell...As I occasionally do beside the stream that runs in front of the shack.

Thank you JM, for sharing your creek.

Vandana, Ron, Larry, Eddie, and Ed,
please forgive me for not thanking you all sooner for your kind replies...I was offline for few days and then have been on a break from here as I just moved and am still unpacking and getting "life" in some semblance of order.
Thank you for coming by and enjoying the creek with me.

I would love to live as a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding.

WHOA! I'm finally here in the comment box! LOL! I read it and was going to skip on to reply, but I had to see everyone of those breathtaking pictures.

You know, the imagery is georgeous in this. It makes me feel like I'm there during, and wish I was there at the end.

This has given just a little bit of serenity tonight, Lady. It is great to read you.

Love

I read this and felt you sitting next to me...You have grown to a place I could never touch, poetry more beautiful than a photo could ever show... it flows like the river and butterflies dancing in the wind~

Jenn, Robert, Margherita, Toe, & BDC ....
thank you all for your kind words, I appreciate them so much and I am glad you found your way to "my creek"  *S* Thank you for coming by and taking the time to view all the photos too. I'm still on somewhat of a pips haitus, getting settled from moving, but will return the kindness on your poetry once I am back. Thank you all for sharing. Heres a few new pics of one of my most recent hikes to the creek and a few other scenic places I've visited.

This eve a hollow heart turns toward sky
Searching again for a twinkle in your eye
The one that will to  "blue" say all is fine
All that was needed ... was just a little time

Messages of cherish resting in Luna's glow
Lighting a trust you had once come to know
Heart speaking out to put all the fears to rest
As you photograph words in front of the best

With all visions soaring above shores of peace
Yesterday's storms will falter in winds of release
An embrace of serenity massages tempo of wind
While wisps of words dance to the rhythm's bend
*************************

You already know my thoughts on this, but I did want to leave a little response to eloborate since the tides have now come into the fall and changed direction.  Tis a cool current swimming in the blue this season, but the blue is still the blue that you had never seen before.  Awesome pics btw.  Who woulda thunk you could teach a moth how to click instead of cluck in nightime burn.

Seriously, I think this is one of your best and I do love to see you stretch.

"yet, I am at a loss, lacking voice.
I understand now, it is by choice."

That is why ya have a camera, it can talk without the waka waka wake!

"Time and again I am drawn here, returning
to where trees whisper the truths of the wind
and rocks keep the secrets of water."

geeeezz girlie !!! whatcha got in the raspberry tea? Trees whispering?????  ( YA KNOW I taught how to hear that one) but the rocks keeping secrets ... well, ya talked them into that yourself.

"Their colors sustain me,
Their silence contains me,
all that's never said, will be
what explains me."

I knew there had to be an explanation somewhere, somehow, by someone, to explain how a moth could type.  I can't wait to hear it either.

Who knows the same wind you ride in your wake of release baby?
