Listening to every heart

0 posted 2004-08-05 07:08 AM

In the Shy of Morn's Light

There is a moment of peace that with vibration softly hums
when first the earliest light of shy green sunrise quietly comes

Nanosecond split of light breaking away from night
A moments shy of day reveals emerald eyes have come to play

Not many see this emerald revealed in sunrise's prism first unveiled
except those who arise, one with thee, come stand in early, to watch with me

Then through the passage of the day as Sun attends its charted way
There is a moment of peace around that with vibration softly sounds

When too soon the sunset shimmers last and purple layers come to cast
Soft twilight filtering over all and takes with it into the past

Then sets this day in all its bright, soft now into this purple twilight
And in this peace that comes to me, cherish always how it should be

For as day has passed to night, eyes of emerald hold shyest light
And shadows do not stand apart, but meld as one to hold these hearts.

I'm grinning ear to ear, marveling at the corn of your music
Yes, my friend, emerald green experience indeed...oh the imposing certitude of mornings shuffle into our lives...it is we that are the visitors, the guests

Thank you for a lovely morning read

These lines are absolutely beautiful, Sunshine.  The colors this poem brought!
Oh, by the way, I still waiting for the humorous writing you promised me down in Prose.  You have me on the edge of my seat in curiosity!  Do write another one!

Very very beautiful...just like the sweet poet who wrote it!
Hugs...and I'll be back soon.

Beautiful, I can see it . . .

The really great thing about this poem Sun,
in how you can feel it so easily...and see
it so clearly as it unfolds...

SIL, I am so glad you reposted this truly inspiring poem.  It makes me wish I were a painter so I could capture the magic of the moments you have so beautifully laid before us.   .......jo
