It rained today;

the sky designed
for thirsty eyes
in tapping rhymes
3/4 time,

from windowed views,
it poured the news
the moonstruck girl,
she cried the blues,

it rained today;

in dotted ii's and
crisscrossed lines
for lovestarved eyes
illusion's wine,

connecting dots
forget me nots
reprieve of darkness
as hearts unblock,

from deep seclusion
embraced inclusion
alas, such transience
in the drops dilution

creative little piece of writing.

I no longer ask who I am, or even what I am. It has dawned on me that there are no answers to such questions, except for our feeble-minded notions.

Blowing my bangs off my forehead and breathing a long winded sigh.

Beautifully said and done, Michele.

Hi Michele. I love the way you wrote this.
I liked the rhythm and rhyme.

I loved the rhythm.

Don't know how long you have had this new pic up (I was out of town) but it seemed to bring home the meaning behind the words...

This is an absolute beauty!  The tempo was 3-quarter time too.  Really enjoyed this one!
