Heat…………………………Stroking

Hades humidity                 Sun-block gone
Palms waving                   Oceans surfing
But back                           In the Midwest
Heat                                Strokes
Living                               Chokes
Call it kind                        Call it mine

Summer                         Lives

Eternity

Midwest hot summers
Humidity, thunderstorms
Triple digit heat

Nicely done!  KJ

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

"Heat....Stroking" ~ very clever Black Sun!
Interesting presentation!

It has been particularly hot and humid where I live as well ~ and visions of oceans surfing helps to cool me off!

This heat makes minutes seem like an eternity!

P.S. Keep applying that sun-block!

Great write -- I remember those humid, hot summers in the Miami Valley of Ohio -- oh yes, I remember!  .....jo

Cool!  -- NOT!  It's hot.  And our AC just went out.  Thank heaven for the neighbor's pool.  Man have I been spoiled.  Ah well, it's kinda' fun hangin' around in your underwear.

Much enjoyed. -- Susan

very well done...and what you describe takes it's toll on me in the winter, as I love the summer, the hotter the better.  Oh, well, what can I say, when winter comes I hibernate?

this was an awesome write...enjoyed.

Summer's great but I wish God would put on the air conditioner... I come up with all kinds of excuses not to go out when it hits 90 or above here...

Yes, it's hovering in the mid 90's peaking out around the century mark and only going to get hotter and the humidity is as it normally is...outrageous.  It's been averaging about 105 deg. in the factory I work at.  Even at night.  At 9 PM it was still 102 deg. in on the production floor.  I'm starting to look better when I look in the mirror (sweatin' it off).  Nice write.  I really enjoyed it.  It made me think of...well...here, actually.

I really like the way you interlaced the voices.  They fit together beautifully.
