For Karen’s Serenity

I saw him standing there
so lacking
and he saw in me
something he didn’t possess
so his fingers grabbed
at the silverness
as to unwrap the edges
to have the center
as his own
he picked chipping
in his power
he tried to take my choice
but it all melted to silence
when he thought he took
my voice

Sometimes I wonder when people think of karma if they only thing of the bad things in their life.

Just now, I read this and thought, "surely, I must have done something right..."

thank you

and we are going to have such a good time when we meet "someday".

Helen, this was great!  And just a good response to Karen's poem.
