Daydreams

Whispered dreams
Like Fairy wings
Drift along on summer breezes
Alighting upon shimmering blossoms
Of endless possibilities
Their glistening promises
Radiant in the late afternoon sun

I reach a hand
I pick a petal
Magic rests upon my palm
Eyes closed, I see the dream
Then blow a kiss
The petal drifts
Dancing in time to Evening’s song

Fly away sweet heart’s desire
Caught upon the winds of time
Cross the expanse of common notion
Sail into the ocean of imagination
And come to moor in safe harbor
In the welcoming hands of true existence
The fruition of daydreams come true
