“OF A LOVER’S TOUCH” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Sometimes when I wait for you in the shadows behind the moon you appear in chiffon and lace, your eyes dance with the stars, and a smile tender with you softens the dim in anticipation of a lover’s touch… Whispers are of sweet guitars strumming softly with us, rhythm moves in the darkness of sweet nothings yet with thoughts of, and a heart skips a beat when silk touches upon me, and I gaze into your eyes to see the innocence of your being… Then when the stars begin their sleep you’re gone from me, to somewhere I know not of, yet once again I will wait behind the moon for you, in the shadows dim, in anticipation of a lover’s touch… ~~~~ |
