On the hope that the new Air America Radio brings to a media dominated by loud and obnoxious "conservative" hypocrites;

learn'd ears will bar
a raven's ravenous caw
and hear the songbird

one defeats all dark,
mood indigo's desp'rate grasp.
strike a single wick

pavement's solid sheet
will yield to wee creation,
life will find the light

tempest's blustered din
in cannonade encroachments.
windchimes unimpressed

The November election;

the fall now beckons.
where arrogance sees dying
births colored array

For those "trolls" who snipe from anonymity (never here at PIPs gratefully)

bottom feeders seek
the bearded cold depth's pallor,
comfort in the sludge

Reminds me of a piece I once did in college while sitting in a classroom frustrated by the folks that never seem to get it.

      the ignorant rawk
like sea gulls while the learn'ed
  toss them stale bread crumbs

     --------

Why is it that the ones with the least to say seem to always say it the loudest?

I believe the most important component of a poem is rhythm. Rhythm is the heartbeat of a poem. It is what makes poetry poetry.

(smiles) Amen, dearest friend, amen to that! (sigh) I truly believe we're all currently in this "cold civil war" as I like to think of it, where "their" president has polarized this nation to the worst shape since the Civil War, and this November will be the greatest verdict of all, whether the truth or ignorance will reign victorious, the headstrong or the chrome-plate headed. I can't even begin to imagine how anyone can support a war, but, more importantly, support a president who may not flip-flop necessarily but also is so stubbornly adherent to his own views he banishes all other views! (sad sigh) I am praying Air America can succeed as a business, for every fledgling business needs all the help it can get, and, sadly, here in Denver, we do not have it yet, though I'm moving to Portland in a month where it is a huge market, yay! God Bless You, sweet friend, and may the truth set us all free, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
