Hit the dirt!

not  having
endured an explosion of
this magnitude she was wise to
start the reconnaissance mission
promptly, recovering scattered bits
seemed of the utmost importance
after gathering the fragments
together she rolled herself  
into the corner and
prayed  for
cohesion
