In A Melancholic Dream

0 posted 2004-02-19 07:56 AM

The night was under her spell of melancholia,
No stars burned brilliant in the sky
Tears flowed down her pale cheek
And my words turned to ash, fading with the winds breeze

Her spirit reigned over the bleak forests of truth,
It was in that time, her eyes blazed with a fire of beauty
She soared with the whispers of angels
But the black rain fell, and a faint chant spoke
"It Is The Dusk Of Man,
No Soul Can Be Betrothed,
And Bereavement Of The Shattered Cross"

Now, I know this looks a bit weird, it's kind of short, and technically even I wouldn't say it makes sense if reading it without thinking.

But my point here was to try to help us look at when we die, our despair enchants our souls and people do odd things... And I don't understand the greif process.

this is actually very powerful!

~~**~~
There are moments when speech
is but a mouth pressed lightly and
humbly against the angel's hands.

This was a very interesting poem, and I enjoyed pondering over it.
