Rose-colored glasses I do not need I realize that broken hearts do bleed, drowning in memories of tainted days in seek of dawning to guide the way. Wearing traces of yesterday's pain while wondering just who in the hell is to blame, dodging the realities held in horizon's view tinted in shades of the unknown truth. Tomorrow seems brighter in prisms of light bending refractions of future's sight, playing hide and seek in the game of love shadowing opaque glows from heaven above. Realizing what all the different hues mean Rose-colored glasses aren't all that they seem. {from a conversation with a dear friend, thanks for the words and help....  }It's better than I could have planned.. it's made me who I am... {Trace Adkins} |

A lot of truth in this. I like the way you take your poem from easy to harsh - like a self-slap in the face of reality... best of all, I think I like your friend. Send her my way, would you? I could use a dose or two of self-same advice!  Hugs you. |

Twould seem there s never really anyone to blame but EVRYONE. Though thta helps the pain not at all. Sorry. Best I scurry off for I feal a massive, treatise coming about. Which is hardly what you need. INstead I simply say to you: there is not a single heart in the entire universe, that has not been broken at least once.Yet all these SURVIVED.
