In sorrow's time
Salty floods seeped
Sliding down my face
Incessantly
Drying the damp
Became aerobic exercise
No distinct path
Beckoned trod of feet
But marching in place
Insured sinking.
Then loving hands
Reached beneath surface
Braided threads of hope
Into steps of salvation.
Fragile, flimsy
This ladder appeared
But was strong enough
To allow ascent.

ah lady, am sitting here in a puddle...this is beautiful, and frail appearances are not as they seem sometimes, for this ladder is woven with angelic threads...
thank you for this my lady friend, I needed to read it.....big big hugs
I have been walking around today with my arms wrapped around me, needing I guess a hug of some sort to make 'this' go away...your words lift me and lift that feeling of despair high enough to let it go...thank you again my friend

poetic TLC ... how lovely is that.

Braided threads of hope
Into steps of salvation.

what a wonderful personification and image that is. tis the hearbeat of the poem...
coming from a poet with a huge heart...
Im not surprised.

Well I cant say what I might believe ...
but if God made you ... he's in love with me.
