Yours Tonight To Write

invite me
to be your queen
and I shall
rule your night
dancing to
dripping darkness
beneath the flame
of waxen sight
where you are
my paper, I your ink
colors brought alive
in black and white
for you alone
are my words
a whisper once heard
on winged flight
wind rereads each
silvered secret
sponged air around us
echoes in recite
sweet is that song
midnight lullaby
in arms that rock you
held so tight
the music starts
now my king
and darkness burns
quick to rays of light
night has fallen
and I am yours
and there are many
sighs to write

h,
And this gets better each time I read it,
but you knew that already.

"wind rereads each

"

such lines!

Yes, Helen, isn't it fun to "write those sighs"?
