I'll be forever wondering
Until the day that I die
Why you left in silence
Without saying goodbye

Friends for seven years
I began to feel secure
Its the not knowing why
That I will have to endure

Knowing I'll never forget
Those years we shared
My tears now flow easily
For I believed you cared

I now find this empty void
I know only you could fill
As sadness overwhelms
I miss you and always will

Oh Hope, I don't know what to say
except that, even if we may come and
go at times, we will always come back
here to PIP, to see each other,
once again.

And Hope, whether your poems are
happy, or sad they really are written
so well.

Not knowing why someone has left will eat at you forever and the emptiness may never be filled without the closure. Loving so deeply someone you can never have can be a burden for a lifetime that you can never unload.

Dear Hope, time is ours to nurture as best as we can, people change over time and though maybe mistaken, some take the chance on change. How many of us live not as the person that we really are? Cherish the seven years of good times and memories, I hope, Hope that the parting was not too heartbreaking; be strong and brave, there will be a soul mate out there who will last a lifetime, good luck in the search.
