The winter was so funny
The roads had turned to Hell
Then just to make the matter worse
Arthur Laing was blocked as well
The ice then turned to fog
I thought that was a joke
Tried to use another bridge
The rotters had blocked oak
I was in no real rush
But others would complain
By the time they got to YVR
Found they’d missed their plane

Ahhh but it was true

Arthur Laing and Oak (Via Richmond) are two bridges crossing the Frazer River to get on to Sea Island VVR Vancouver Airport. Otherwise it’s back to Southeast Marine to cross on the Knight Street Bridge…. Yes it was funny that the people that organise roadworks seem to lack basic common sense. Bit like painting yourself into a corner. The weather didn’t help.
