Joan’s dad is dead cause Ivor just said

Now (insert name) was a real Jack the lad

When Ivor found Joan He wasn’t at home

A coal minor raised Joan as her dad

In those days of course for better or worse

One never knew one was adopted

Though Ivor did well I think you can tell

He became a home carer co-opted

Now it is sad to loose any dad

To loose anyone sure can’t be nice

Then to take control with no real goal

Sorts out the men from the mice

Well I could go on but I have to run

To check on my kindred and kith

It would be funny I might find some money

Then live out my last days in bliss
