Broken, again
In the dark my mind reaches the same,
Same old thing
Close the curtains and let my shadow fall
Weary onto a bed.

“You ruin everything you get.”
Was said.
The shattered silver charm illuminated
In my palms.
I tremble, my fists shaking by my sides
The point lost in the flurry of words,
They hurt.

The door opens
I wipe my cheeks of tears
I say nothing and you leave
Unaware,
That I was there.

Mirrored on the glass
My face, the same,
Same old thing.

And the legacy runs from needles to guns
And no one's immune to the pain
From Marilyn to River Phoenix
From Elvis to Kurt Cobain

woah courts that was so awesome.. it was so darkly beautiful, and almost eery the girl is so broken. it hurts reading these sorts of poems though. try something happy and uplifting

anywho..
*note to sophie: if you want to hear "hallelujah" how it's meant to be sung... listen to the Jeff Buckley original.. it's 10 times better than the guy who covered it.*

Soph: Glad I got to see you today, been missing you. "Hallelujah"? Is that the one on the last ep of the oc, first season? I'll find out....Thanks for your commets. Means so much to me.

Lor: I love this saying now: keep on keeping on. You can get through school by seeing me on the weekends "hint hint", like I siad to Soph, thanks for replying. Honestly, you guys here make me feel so much better.

Craig: Lol thanks, I kinda liked writing it.

Mike: Should I be happy there's a friend who understands? or sad that someone else shares the same feeling. Always appreciate your comments.

Kurst: I love getting replies from you, you make me feel so good. The girl.....actually you know I was told that I ruined everything I get, from a person I admire. I meant to write about how I just sat in the dark and I felt better when everything else around me was yelling or being sarcastic. It didn't work out that way though. Thank you so much, off to read your new masterpiece now.

(*pssst note to KURST... if YOU wanna hear how the song is ACTUALLY meant to be sung, and the ACTUAL original, listen to the writer's version, Leonard Cohen. i hate it how people think jeff buckley wrote it.. and i myself prefer rufus' cover, even though jeff's cover was rated best cover of all time. Cohen's the legend behind it all though, don't take his credit!)

Oh wow
Your face is beautiful
More so than is seen
In that damn mirror
This was triumphant.
