Wet and sticky glossy appearance
They sneak around
Servant of the master they've been sent
Slip into my mind and curl around
Doing what I wouldn't and usually refuse
They sneak around

My faith and plans with a little hook
Shiny package rub unfold
A little mark that reads tear here
Source of poison "I see you."
Stomp you down to your carpet grave
Simple procession with a leaf on top

Carefully handle and rot them away
Stretch my finger to the northern moon
Sanity in brilliance snakes roast away
Teatering traps and death dying soon
Dropping all bets on a silver spoon
Inches from the Satan praising God away

He has made everything beautiful in its own time.  -Ecclesiastes 3:11

"A little Mark...that reads 'tear here'".
A bit too close to home, but so incredibly done. Those "marks" are always made by the snakes we encounter, and you've been hiding a gift...awaiting your split-second chance to perfectly strike us with this one.

Can't explain. Too good. Great write.

Hollow.

I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World.

Purity, but isn't that why we call you purity?  Yeah the snakes can cause swelling, sickness, death, burns, scars, convulsive thinking,...  And its so weird how the poison, no matter what kind it is almost feels good when it first goes in and maybe a little after, but thats when it first starts to get good.  And the pain it causes...  That just gave me an idea for a new one.
