I'm tired and I'm hurt and I'm angry
I've tried everything I can try
But cracking your constant dispassion
Is like teaching an old pig to fly!

You lured me to what is your country
Where everything's strange, and yet still
I followed my heart...I'm a dreamer
And dreams can't be turned off at will...

But nothing is quite like you told me
No passion, no love here at all
I sit here alone in your prison
Just staring at old empty walls...

Yet still in my heart I keep hoping
That somehow, someday you will see
You hold in your cold hands a treasure
The heart that beats lonely in me...

So far, there's no end to this story
No answer comes when I ask 'Why?'
There seems no escape, and no future
in teaching an old pig to fly!

I see just what you mean, hon. Glad you got some of this off your chest and onto here.
Hugs
