A Fool? No, Old School

You call me
an ungrateful witch
but you are the one
that didn't accept
love.
Love, that asked
nothing in return
except respect,
and kindness
You say
all your emotions
I ditched
but, I was there
all along
to myheart,
and my love
you showed
your blindness.
I never asked you
for anything but
one little simple act
like pick up the phone
your conceit is beyond belief
you think other people want
to be a part of your gloom
when for them, in your heart
you have,
no room.
It's fine. It's ok
to stand by someone
when their skies are gray
but you leave no room
everyone must pay.
A fool? Me?
No I think
a fool is
one
that
does
not
know
when
some-
one
loves
you.
But
then
that's
me,
I'm
old
school.

I really like this poem alot and sadly, I knew someone like that too. Funny how love can work in the strangest of ways. Good write though, it flowed nicely.
