Your little tree never had a chance Growing in the woods outside of town. You gave it but a single glance, AND THEN YOU CHOPPED IT DOWN!!! You could have bought a plastic tree, With lots of fiber optic lights. Instead you went on a killing spree, And your tree went down without a fight. It won't be long before Yuletide is done, And your life will regain its normal pace. But for that tree, its life has run, And the mulcher will be its resting place. The tears are running down my reddened face, As I think of the way your little tree died. You happily revel in you decorated space, Furnished by an axe so cruely plied. Merry Christmas from this day forth, Will never sound for me the same. A little tree, now having lost the worth, That it could have grown to gain. heh - poor ol' Dark Angel and Mysteria are gonna feel bad now and they'll come apologize to me and promise to use plastic trees from now on. Then Balladeer and Toerag will copy them (they copy everybody already), and I'll hoot and laugh at their plastic, three-limbed trees next Christmas. This poem is pure genious!  My tree looks real but it is not at $7.50 a foot, I can't buy a lot... but this stands 7 feet high in the air the angel barely has headroom to spare. I take it out of its box with ease to garland and decorate as I please I care to conserve, no real tree for mine, and yet I miss the scent of good pine. |

Sailor man, you are insane. Methinks you have a plastic brain! A real tree's the only way To celebrate the Christmas day. Well, LongJohn, I understand why you buy plastic blow-up dolls instead of wasting a real woman for such an unworthy cause... Some things have no substitute  |

Thank you all for supporting my master plan to rope in thjose two scalawags, 'Deer and Toe. I'm sure they are already out trying to fnd plastic sticks to glue together into something they think looks like a tree. 'Deer - Nice riposte, you rascal. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all. |
