A quiet man of compassion
A friend of many far and wide
His words help to make a difference
He shares so much from deep inside

I have never actually met him
But I feel I know him well
His words paint a vivid picture
His message is clear as a bell

He embraces his fellow man
And always has a kind word
He writes many words of wisdom
His voice is one that should be heard

I feel privileged to know him
I'm sure so many would agree
That people such as Rick
Make PIP a great place to be

* * *

"My friend is like a bark
rounding a tree
He warms like sun
on a Winter's day
He cools like water
in the hot noon
His voice is ready
as a Spring bird
He is my friend
and I am his"

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

My Dear, dear Sue, this was so wonderful and so heart felt, thank you, I have never had a poem written for me, and I must say that it is a wonderful feeling. You have touched me with your words and warmed my heart within, this feels like an early Christmas present.I feel so happy to be among friends as yourself, my time on Passions is a blessing, my time with you all inspiring.

Thank you Sue, you are a wonderful person to have done this, take care my friend and may many blessings find their way to you.

Sincerely
Rick

You have written and shared what I believe most agree with...as Rick is exceptionally insightful, kind, caring and a gentleman, beyond most...he give you faith in men...he is one who displays nothing but resolve and respect for others...obtaining possiblity beyond the norm...giving to all before himself.

Many thanks to both of you, for always writing and sharing, both in your work, but also in reading and commenting on the work of others...I am truly greatful.

Stunning view you have painted here for us...thank you
