He

He has sprinkled heav’ns with galaxies and  filled the roaring seas
Yet His voice is but a whisper in the cold December breeze
He has rocked my inner being and caused  earth to quake and shift
But His touch is gentle as the softness of a morning mist

He created chains of mountains, lifted water from the spring
Yet His steps are light as butterfly’s translucent paper wing
He’s more mighty and more potent than the mind could e’er perceive
Yet He welcomes the most meek and fragile spirit to believe

His magnificence is greater than the eye can ever know
Yet his beauty is contained within an icy flake of snow
And He radiates in glory as His Light spreads near and far
Yet his grace is subtle as the twinkling of an evening star

In the breezes of December, in the beads of dawning mist
In the dainty wing of butterfly, God surely does exist
In the stars that dot the heavens, in the January snows
I can see God’s hand  that made the wondrous gifts that He bestows

His great power and his vastness reaches to infinity
Yet he walks in steadfast silence here beside the likes of me

this is so beautiful..
He is so amazing, isn't He?
This reminded me of the song "this fragile breath" by Todd Agnew, how he is so powerful yet tender...
I love this... mind if I keep it in my library? 'cause I'm gonna!

Always, Alyssa

Oh how on earth did I miss this?  Yes he is all these things and more, and it is wonderful we have poets like you to put his deeds into the most beautiful words.
