Jerusalem, you shall not always weep
Your crimson river flowing shall abate;
The bitter tears you shed though rising deep
At last shall drown the searing flames of hate.

Jerusalem, you shall not always cry
Your agony shall cease and peace shall reign
Upon thee, Holy Land, and lift you high
Above the arid desert of disdain.

Jerusalem, you shall not always wail
In sorest grief, despised by vile men;
O, Jewel of God, no one can long assail;
He’ll surely vanquish ev’ry foe, Amen.

Jerusalem, let hill and vale rejoice
His throne shall reign in thee by Sovereign choice.

Thanks everyone, it's nice to be missed. Maybe one of these days I'll write again. It's been quite a while. I'm glad you enjoyed this 'oldie' of mine!
