Close you eyes and open your heart
I have a gift for you,
Although it's been yours since the start
Everything that I am and all of my heart
What to do with it is up to you now
Cradle it gently and place it in your heart
Or close your hand over it and shatter it apart
Will you keep it and treat it true
My heart that beats only for you
Place it in yours and make my dreams come true
My fate is in your hands it's up to you now
Just know that I love you oh so much
All I ask is for you to decide with your heart
If we are not meant to be i'll have to accept that

Welcome to Passions, fellow Kansan!  I hope you find Passions to be as good for you as it has for me.

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?

Terri,

Thank you so much for the best wishes.

Sunshine,

Nice to hear from a fellow Kansan.  I've enjoyed the website for awhile although this is my first visit to the forums but I've loved what I have seen so far.

Ang, welcome to Passions. I really enjoyed your first
post, and look forward to reading more of your work.
I hope that you like it here in the forums. I read a lot
at Passions In Poetry before I joined, too.
Hugs
Ethel

Welcome to Passions IrishDreamer. Hope to see some more of your stuff. This first post is very sweet. To give away your heart is never an easy thing...but the rewards are so worth it if it works out. Good-luck!
